Discrimination of people with ASD in Sweden
Today after the EU programmes and declarations, about stop the discrimination and the call to change attitudes towards the people with Neuropsychiatric diagnosis, we would been more accepted and would have a bigger chance to get the same right to an equal education at school, or same right to get a job offer- but no!
The Government in Sweden once again cuts where it is most needed, now it will be even less support for pupils with special needs, at the schools again!The Government had already created a situation for this pupils that are extremely rough, when they are struggling to get any form of support to get an education at all.This will effect the youngsters chance to even get a acceptable place in the society, and stay away from get stuck in the welfare programmes.Swedish politicians (conservative) was very clear that they wish for a elite school were the pupils with all the glory of be neurotypical and with better ability to study will get all and other pupils less.
I can´t help i get flashbacks back to the 1940ís when a certain man´s perspective of whom had the rigt to live ,killed millions of humans.Today it is more refined, politicians don´t give a second thought before they consider to cut on people with illness,disabilities,the elderly,or anywhere there no elite humans are represented in their eyes.
What they seems to forget is that if they get rid of all people with for example Aspergers Syndrome, a lot of the technical, computing,IT,and other areas will be quite empty of pro´s ,as most people that are very high knowledge in that is the same people they slowly try to kill and the same people that are holding the world´s economy on their shoulders.
It is time that all with a ASD diagnose get together ,even that we are mostly trying not to get attention ,to raise our voices, to show that enough is enough, we are humans, and we wont get neglected and treated as our diagnosis anymore when WE ARE NOT OUR DIAGNOSE - WE ARE A PERSON WITH A DIAGNOSE!We are a very big group in the society ,we have competence, knowledge,resources, special skills and we wont take more neglecting attitudes or be more discriminated from the society , we demand our human rights to be a part of the society, we wont accept more cuts in our rights to have the same right to live a life on the same level as neurotypical demands for themselves- we are humans -we are not a number that can get erased!!
Calling all Aspies and others around the world- let´s get together and make a change!!
We have been struggling to get a acceptable life,for us and our children, i will not accept see more children and then their children commit suicide or give up just because for how the get treated in the society!
