  • Autism Light: Dr. Stanley Greenspan

Two years ago today the autism community lost a hero who made a tremendous contribution in the treatment of autism. Dr. Stanley I. Greenspan was the influential child psychiatrist responsible for the development of the autism treatment known as Floortime. Dr. Stanley Greenspan is being named an Autism Light posthumously for his work with opening up a new world to countless numbers of children with autism and for bringing Floortime to the repertoire of autism treatments. His name is also being added to the Autism Light Memorial Roll.More Here...

We had another great day playing ball up in Healdsburg with the Wonder League. The whole family got into it. Both kids played and cheered. But that my friend, is only part of the story.... More Here...

  • Don't Be Such A Hater

So...I decided not to write a blog for Autism Awareness month. Seems crazy right? Well, everyone else was writing lots of articles and blogs for the month, and it was great to see new people getting vocal about Autism. I enjoyed sitting back and watching people shine. Then May 1st hit and it died down, and people seemed to go back to their normal routines. So why didn’t I write anything? Autism Awareness is something that should be “celebrated” all year, not just one month. I wanted this blog to be a reminder of that. More Here...
