  • Autism Light: Anita Lesko


    Anita Lesko is from Pensacola, Florida. Anita was diagnosed with Aspergers at age 50, and lived the first five decades of her life without knowing about how Aspergers impacted her relationships and life. Autism though has not held Anita back from working to help others. She is an anesthesiologist, author, speaker, trainer, and one of a group of leaders seeking to establish a mentor program for people with Aspergers.  Anita Lesko is an Autism Light for the important role she has filled in bringing awareness of autism through her writing and working to establish a program for mentors for people with Aspergers.   • Our Child’s First Sleep Over

  • Study shows NAET helps autistics



    Jacob Teitelbaum, MD, is the one who initiated the recent study showing that NAET measurably benefitted 23 out of 30 autistic kids. Those 23 no longer had to be in special ed classes after a year of NAET treatment. In contrast, all 30 in the control group remained in special ed classes. More Here...

  • Advertising on Autisable

    Autisable has been around now for about 3 years.

    The first year we were focused on how to best serve the Autism Community, and finding content to share.  

    The second year was all about networking - which we still do to this day.  Thousands now blog on Autisable, sharing their journey with Autism and networking with one another.

    This past year has been solidifying where we are at - adding another editor to help out with the site - and further establishing our community online.

     

    We continue to do these things as our site grows, because we know that by serving the Autism Community - we are helping people worldwide.

     

    We haven't focused on one thing, not because we didn't want to - but because it just wasn't the right timing.
