I am autistic, RN, happily married mother of 2.
I cannot work because of severe aut. collitis, disc out and bone spurs on inner spine, arthitis all joints, carpel tunnel, and more.
i worked 27 yrs., was an honor roll & deans list student, but my atec score is 106, severely aut. 6 PHD's and 3 psychiatrists all diagnosed autism.
I decided to apply for soc. sec. disability & offer free over the phone advise to other auts. & their families.
After almost 7 yrs. they turned me down again because under heavy sedation I tolerated a colonoscopy.
I want to run for US senate in 2012.

As a female, adult Aspie, and mother of 3 boys with Autism it is nice to know you are out there. Politics upset me but I would happily listen to you to support Women and Mothers with Autism Spectrum Disorders.
If you do run for U.S. Senate, what would you do differently that is not already being done now, might be one of the questions ? Φ ≡

No, because all you're giving me is, "I've live a life with difficulties." Okay? So what are the big changes you want to make? What is your ultimate goal? What do you plan to give me out of this? So far the answers I got are nothing.
