  • #autismconf: Professional Tutors of America, Inc.

Let's be honest here with ourselves.  Sometimes you need someone who knows how to teach a child with special needs.  But where can you find one?

One of the first few booths I came across was the Professional Tutors of America.  They are a Nationawide Network of Special Education Teachers who provide one-to-one specialized academic instruction.   They would come to the home or school or facility wherever the child needed care.

They've also partnered with over 250 school districts and government agencies.

What I've found interesting is that they will review IEP's, Transition Plans and case history.  They will also consult with people regarding the students educational needs.

    Here's their website: http://www.professionaltutors.com/

Have you used their services or some other similar service?  What was your experience?
