Trying to Look at the Whole Picture
This is not a complete post. There are only a few points that i wish to get across for the readers on this blog. I hope that readers are made clear the insults of "special ed" and "autistic" are in response to an earlier tweet towards him. It is only fair that the entire conversation should be captured and posted, so that the word is understood in its context and not misinterpreted as something that's scientifically-defined.
Also, I've witnessed many slandering of the artist because of this one event, or general perception of his music. In 2010, Curtis Jackson went from 214lbs to 160lbs in 2 months and removed tattoos to play a lead role in the movie All Things Fall Apart. In this movie, the football player in his height of success and fame in career and with women, was diagnosed with cancer. Realizing the importance and delicate nature of life, he turned around to bring his family together while striving to live on to leave the mark of his success on the field before everything ends.50cent showed up on Keenan Cahill's lipsync video to perform with him.Keenan Cahill has Maroteaux–Lamy syndrome and faces much difficulty in his childhood before finding success and recognition on youtube. 50cent showed up to Keenan's home to perform with him, without charge, without discrimination of Keenan's disorder/appearance.I'm pretty sure looking up Jackson's childhood upbringing in a single parent family in poverty would also reveal much of Curtis's understanding and experience of being disadvantaged.I think it is crucial that people open their eyes and make judgement only on that one specific isolated event, rather than slandering the person as a whole, if they are completely clueless about anything else regarding that person.
