  • The Trip to San Diego - National Conference

My adventure starts this weekend, where I will board the plane and set on this trip out to Southern California.

The trip is two-fold - part to visit family and friends, with the Autism Conference being the final focus of the trip.

Expect many blog posts from me over the next couple of weeks as the Team has asked for me to report on my journey - as if they think I'm just going to have too much fun at Disneyland....

    Who...me?

I look forward to sharing with you my journey out to the west coast.

Oh... there will be hundreds of organizations at the conference.... is there any one you'd like for me to investigate?

Will you be attending the conference?  If so, keep an eye out for me and say, "hi"

There will be regular updates via Twitter and Facebook, etc... (look for the hashtag #autismconf  - several folks will be using it)

    Stay Tuned.

    Hi Joel,

I just sent you a tweet but I will comment here as well in case you do not get it.  I am just about to begin the adventure to head to the National Conference as well. I am so excited to go to be with so many like-minded people. I have a 21 year old with severe (and I mean severe) ASD and I have never made it to National. I use to consider myself a conference junkie but I just never got there.

Besides being a mom of three adult/children with special needs, I am also a Certified Advanced Integrated Listening Systems (iLs) Practitioner. I will be heading to the conference to inform other parents about the life changing benefits of iLs as I have seen in my professional practice, for my children and also with my own ADHD.  ILS co-founder Dr. Ronald Minson will be speaking about iLs and will be announcing the results of some new research. I will be at the booth if you would like to stop by and say hello!

Hope you have a wonderful time! I look forward to meeting you there,

    Rebecca Goniwich

@iLs -  Hello Rebecca,  I look forward to meeting you as well.  Should be good times.   I'll be visiting with family prior to my adventure to the conference itself, but will be blogging/updating, etc... during the trip.

    Blessings.
