This is actually very informative. My son has a temper and has tantrums every once in awhile (especially when he is tired). I've been trying to tell my mom that he is not having a meltdown especially since he will stop when he is given what he wants or he is put in his room to calm down. Moreover, you can walk away from him and he will eventually stop crying when he sees you really aren't going to come back.
About Me: I am the mother of two children with asperger's syndrome. The oldest infact was diagnosed with PDD-NOS at the age of five. He is now in college. Actually, both boys are now in college. It has been a long road and not so easy all the time. But I never gave up and I never will until my boys have the future of their choosing.
