• The New Bedtime Routine

   

  
  

  Recently we moved the girls bookshelves out into the lounge room, this has led to an interesting new bedtime routine for Heidi.
  
  Each night she goes to her room, gets into PJs and then comes out to the lounge room to choose her bedtime story.  

  But before Heidi can choose the story she now goes through a ‘password’ sequence with the Enid Blyton books on the top shelf.  The Enid Blyton books all have interesting pictures on their spines and Heidi pulls them out in a certain sequence to determine her password and thus what book we are reading that night.

  Note – she does not want to read the Enid Blyton books, Heidi much prefers ‘Pamela Allen’ and the ‘How does a Dinosaur’ series. We must however go through the password sequence each night before Heidi settles on a bedtime story. Interesting new development.
