excuse the groundhog ;)
Today, I am most thankful that despite all the challenges my younger son, Holden, faces: his own ADHD and anxiety, his older brother's autism, and all the stress that we as parents put on our children to do what they can to succeed, that he's overall, a totally wonderful and great kid.
I was able to check his 2nd marking period (9 week) grades online, via
Edline. His progress report grades back in December while not horrible, were not what we know he's capable of.
He had a C+ in Math which went up to B+, English was a B+ and went up to A-, Social Studies was a B and remained a B and Science was a B and went up to A-. He did an incredible job raising his grades up! Very proud of that boy!
This kid can do anything he sets his mind to! Raising his grades, drawing, running a race, playing soccer, wrestles, video games (that are more intended for adults). He just has his hand in everything it seems!
I hope he realizes how blessed he is... he can literally do anything and I think will do amazing and wonderful things as he gets older. As long as he applies himself and does what's necessary, he'll be an amazing adult!
Mom loves you very much little man!
