Sunday Evening on The Coffee Klatch
Tune in, grab a cup of coffee. We're kicking off Autism Awareness Month.
This Sunday - April 1st, 2012 (9pm EST) - I will be on The Coffee Klatch. The Coffee Klatch is an interactive forum on Blog Talk Radio and Twitter bringing you internationally renowned expert guests including award winning authors, psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists, advocates, celebrity activists and representatives from the world’s most respected children’s foundations.
We will be talking about Autisable - what it is doing for the Autism community - and more.
I will be interviewed by Marianne Russo - Founder, President and Host of The Coffee Klatch.
There will be a couple of co-hosts on the show as well:
Nicole Eredics of The Inclusive Class - Nicole is an Elementary Educator who spent over 15 years working in an inclusive school system in British Columbia, Canada. Together with parents, administrators, co-teachers and paraprofessionals, Nicole taught children with various moderate to severe abilities in her fully inclusive classrooms.
Terri Mauro also of The Inclusive Class. Authors the column of Special Needs for About.com and Terri is the author of 50 Ways to Support Your Child's Special Education and The Everything Parent's Guide to Sensory Integration Disorder. Her website Mothers With Attitude, offering "humor and help for adoptive moms, special-needs moms, any old moms at all," was recognized as a USA Today Hot Site and a Good Housekeeping Site of the Day. She has been working as a writer for more than 25 years, and has been an editor for Hallmark Cards, First for Women magazine, and Food and Wine cookbooks.
