Nothing like children to keep you grounded. There is something about being thrown up on that really helps keep your feet on the ground.
Well, that among other bodily functions that have been smeared on my body, don't worry I won't go into detail. But its amazing the sacrifices that you make for your children, that tug at your heart strings that keeps you going. When you see their little precious face, sick or hurt or whatever it may be, and you hold them tight and tell them it will be alright. It's when they flash that small smile back at you, then you know you've made that difference.
It makes all the throw up in the world disappear and everything feels alright. May we fight on another day, as parents, caregivers, whatever you may be, keep on going for the little ones, because they are the precious gifts we have been given and certainly have been the inspiring force in my life.
I say that as my son is climbing on the table for the hundredth time...ah but he's just so cute...lolRead original post
