  • On the Air on April 1st

As many of us know, April is Autism Awareness Month, and April 2nd is World Autism Awareness Day.

Autism Speaks will be 'Lighting it up Blue'  - and I'll be with The Coffee Klatch on April 1st - discussing Autisable, blogging about Autism and announcing some great things!

For those that are unaware, The Coffee Klatch is a blog talk radio program headed up by Marianne Russo.  She "wants to give parents what she so dearly needed and did not have when she started on my journey, the empowerment of confidence and hope.  It is her hope to bring you the tools to not only accept and understand your child’s diagnosis, but to educate parents on special education law, digging out of the trenches and the true meaning of advocacy."

The Coffee Klatch is on Facebook, and has an event set up.  Feel free to follow them on facebook and see who else they are interviewing by checking out their Events section.

You can also follow them on Twitter.

Hope to see/hear you there. :)

If you have any questions, feel free to make a comment - send a private message.  I'll try to answer them while we are on the air.
(there's also a way for people to call in, and podcasts are expected to be made available)
