Theatre Horizon Autism Outreach Program
Purpose of the Theatre Horizon Autism Drama Program
- To provide a drama program for children with autism
- To use drama as a catalyst for communication, socialization and motivation
- To provide an alternative program to engage, excite and relate with children who are on the autism spectrum
- To inspire imagination and flexible thinking
- To help children find their own voice
- To teach social skills in a fun and positive way

In this program, we use theatre games to encourage socialization, creativity, self-expression and friendship skills to children on the autism spectrum.
Winter 2012 Session Dates:
SATURDAYS
February 4, 11, 18, 25
March 3, 10Times: Ages 5-8 from 10am – 11am
Ages 9-16 from 11:30am – 12:30pmFee: The true cost to run this program is roughly $175 per student. Our goal is to keep this class accessible to all children, regardless of family income. Please pay what you feel your family can afford, along a sliding scale of: $60 - $175 for the session. ($10-35 per class.)
