Autisable started in May of 2009, as a means to help promote discussion and awareness of Autism.
We've been honored to highlight the stories and opinions of those who "tackle the puzzle of Autism".
Thanks to those who read Autisable, and even decided to
join Autisable to share their journey. Thanks also to those who have allowed us to share their stories.
Autisable is still pretty small, so this year's donation wasn't quite enough to start a new endowment
.
But of course every little bit helps!
Our first donation has gone to
Autism Today. We wanted to bless them due to the countless efforts of providing resources and information to the Autism community through their website and conferences.
When the time comes for future donations to organizations, we want you to provide suggestions and we'll put it up for a vote.
It was a great feeling for us to be able to make our first donation based on the workings of this site - and we look forward to bigger donations in the future!

We have a group of primary school children, most of whom are on the autistic spectrum. They have produced a new blog about themselves, their dreams, their stories, lives, artwork, photos. All the content is purely by and about themselves, showing a unique insight into their lives. This is a fun blog.
